
Our Application Process
Applications can be submitted online or physically at our campus. Our intakes are in January, May, and September. Below is the application process:

HOW TO REGISTER FOR A COURSE, 4 SIMPLE STEPS:
1. View List of Programs & Check Eligibility
Browse the full course catalogue on the website.
Use filters like course type, duration, or qualifications.
Check course requirements: academic qualifications, age limits, or prior experience.
Download the course brochure for more details.
2. Click ‘Apply’ on Your Preferred Course & Fill In Your Details
Click the “Apply Now” button next to the course.
Complete the online form with your personal details, academic history, and supporting documents.
Double-check all information before submission.
Save your application reference number.
3. Make Payment Through the Provided Channels
Choose your preferred payment method:
→ Mobile Money (e.g., M-Pesa)
→ Bank Transfer
→ Debit/Credit CardFollow the instructions provided for your selected method.
Keep the payment confirmation or transaction ID safe.
4. Registration Complete!
You’ll receive a confirmation email or SMS with your student ID.
Access your student portal to start learning.
Join orientation (if available).
You're officially enrolled—welcome aboard!
To apply for a course at the Regional Centre Training Institute (RCTI), you'll generally need a KCSE mean grade C- or higher for Diploma programs and a KCSE D (Plain) or equivalent for Certificate programs.

General Requirements:
KCSE (Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education):
Diploma Programs: A mean grade of C- or higher.
Certificate Programs: A mean grade of D (Plain) or its equivalent.
Specific Course Requirements:
Diploma in Land Surveying:
D+ in Maths, Geography and Physics
Diploma in Cartography & GIS:
D+ in Maths & Geography
Certificate in Land Surveying:
D- in Maths, Geography and Physics
RCTI Programs and Requirements:
ICT (Information and Communication Technology): Diploma and Certificate programs are offered, with KCSE mean grade C- as the general requirement.
Geospatial Courses: Diploma programs require a KCSE C- and Certificate programs require a KCSE D (Plain) or equivalent.
Land Surveying, Photogrammetry & Remote Sensing: KCSE Mean Grade C- with at least D+ in Maths, Physics & Geography.

Be a Certificate holder from a recognized learning institution
CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS
KSCE Mean Grade of D (plain) and above or its equivalent
FOREIGN STUDENTS
International students must obtain a qualification letter from the Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA)
